On Saturday, actor Prince Narula visited the Mahakaleshwar temple situated in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district, where he engaged in prayers and participated in the revered ‘Bhasma Aarti’, seeking blessings from Baba Mahakal, an incarnation of Lord Shiva.
The ‘Bhasma Aarti’, a well-known ritual at the temple, is conducted during the auspicious ‘Brahma Muhurta’ between approximately 3:30 and 5:30 in the morning. It is believed that participating in this ritual fulfills the wishes of devotees. According to the temple priest, the tradition involves opening the doors of Baba Mahakal during the Brahma Muhurta, followed by a ceremonial bathing of Lord Mahakal with Panchamrit, consisting of milk, curd, ghee, sugar, and honey. Subsequently, the Bhasma Aarti takes place amidst the sounds of drums and conch shells.
Expressing his sentiments to ANI, actor Narula shared, “I am very pleased to be here. I experienced a unique spiritual energy today. I prayed to Baba Mahakal for the health and well-being of myself and my family.”
