The Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government is set to unveil a world-class school in Kheda village, Narela, with Education Minister Atishi actively overseeing the final stages of its completion.

During her inspection, Delhi Education Minister Atishi emphasised that the new, state-of-the-art school in Kheda village reflects the government’s commitment to education. “Before Arvind Kejriwal’s government took power in 2015, Delhi’s government schools were in a deplorable state, with crumbling walls and dark classrooms that offered little hope for the future of our children. However, under CM Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, education has become a top priority, resulting in the construction of magnificent government schools even in the villages of Delhi. We are committed to providing a world-class education to children from all backgrounds, both rich and poor,” she asserted.

Atishi further shared, “CM Arvind Kejriwal’s vision is to transform the country through education. This vision can only be realised when children from poor families have access to the same facilities as those from wealthy backgrounds. We have taken a major step towards this by making Delhi government schools exemplary.”

She added, “Although CM Arvind Kejriwal has been jailed on a false charge, his dream of developing the country through education cannot be confined. We are committed to fulfilling this dream by ensuring excellent education for every child.”

The four-story school in Kheda village boasts 72 rooms and is equipped with 11 state-of-the-art facilities, including smart classrooms, a lab, a library, an activity room, an MP hall, luxurious furniture, a lift for students, and a toilet block. During her inspection, the Education Minister instructed officials to expedite the finishing work and ensure the school is ready to be dedicated to the area’s children within the next two months.
