In a significant move ahead of the Haryana Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its fifth list of 9 candidates on Wednesday. This comes as the party ramps up its preparations for the October 5 elections, aiming to make a strong political impact in the state.

New Candidates Announced by AAP
The latest list of candidates includes:

  • Anil Ranga from Narwana
  • Daljeet Singh from Tosham
  • Dr. Goipchand from Nangal
  • Pardeep Jutail from Pataudi
  • Wasim Jaffar from Ferozepur Jhirka
  • Nayab Thekedar Bisru from Punahana
  • ML Gautam from Hodal
  • Dharmender Hindustani from Palwal
  • Kaushal Sharma from Prithla

This follows AAP’s earlier announcement of its fourth list, featuring 21 candidates, bringing the total number of announced candidates closer to finalizing the party’s roster for the elections.

Key Figures in AAP’s Campaign
Among the star campaigners named by AAP are:

  • Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal
  • Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann
  • Delhi Ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj
  • Top AAP leaders Sanjay Singh and Manish Sisodia

The party’s campaign is gaining momentum as senior leaders travel across Haryana to rally support. Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia recently participated in the nomination rally for Anurag Dhanda, AAP’s candidate from the Kalayat constituency. Sisodia expressed confidence in AAP’s victory, emphasizing that the people of Haryana are eager for change after a decade of BJP rule.

AAP’s Focus: Anti-Corruption and Public Services
Sisodia highlighted AAP’s core campaign issues, stating, “Our main fight is against corruption, anti-school policies, anti-hospital policies, and the politics that destroyed job opportunities.” He also stressed that under AAP leadership, the state would see progress through Arvind Kejriwal’s governance guarantees.

Seat-Sharing Talks with Congress Fail
Talks of a potential seat-sharing alliance between AAP and Congress did not come to fruition, and both parties are expected to compete separately in the elections. With nominations closing on September 12, AAP is in the final stages of solidifying its campaign strategy for the 90-member legislative assembly elections.
