Aftab’s face recognition test and voice test has been concluded on Monday at CFSL Delhi.
Meanwhile, for voice sampling, Aftab was brought to CFSL at 10:20 and after completing both tests by around 1:30, he was sent.
Moreover, this report was very important for the Delhi Police in the investigation of the Shraddha murder case.
Earlier on Friday Delhi High Court permitted Delhi Police to obtain a voice sample of Aaftab. A voice sampling test was conducted after Delhi police retrieved audio of a conversation between Aaftab and Shraddha.
“True, a fair trial is the right of the accused but it is also true that fair investigation is also required in the larger public interest as the offense cannot escape and crime cannot go unnoticed merely because the accused is not ready to aid in the investigation,” Metropolitan Magistrate Vijayshree Rathore of Saket court said.
Aaftab killed her live-in partner Shraddha and in 35 pieces Aaftab chopped her body. Based on his confession he was arrested in November and on 9 December Aaftab was produced before a court via video conferencing and for 14 days his judicial custody was extended.
