On Friday, An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 struck 573km east of Java, Indonesia, reported the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
The quake was at a depth of 600 km, the NCS said. “Earthquake of Magnitude: 6.3, Occurred on April 14, 2023, 15:25:45 IST, Lat: -6.35 and Long: 112.03, Depth: 600 Km, Location: 573km E of Java, Indonesia,” tweeted NCS. No tsunami warnings have been posted until now. More details are awaited.
