The event took place between the Lighthouse and Chennai Port, attracting a large crowd under intense weather conditions.

Notable Guests and Spectacular Aircraft Display

The airshow was attended by many prominent figures, including Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, and Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin. Despite the unfortunate incident, the show featured an impressive display of 72 aircraft, including Rafale, SU-30, MIGs, Jaguars, and Tejas, marking an entry into the Limca Book of World Records.
