Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has made a major leap by exporting its premium HP LUBRICANTS to the United States, marking its 30th country in global operations. The first shipment of HP SHOX OIL DC, a specialized shock absorber oil, will be used by Duroshox, a prominent manufacturer of motion control and damping solutions, for solar panel dampers in San Antonio, Texas. This achievement highlights HPCL’s global expansion, particularly in the US, the world’s largest lubricant market. CH Srinivas, ED-Lubes at HPCL, expressed pride in this milestone and their future growth prospects.
A flag-off ceremony was held at Mazgaon Terminal to commemorate this achievement, and the shipment was dispatched from Nhava Sheva Port in Mumbai. This success signals HPCL’s ambitions to deepen its global footprint in the lubricant industry, especially in markets like the US, which offer significant potential for business growth.
