Oscar-winning music composer MM Keeravani participated in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections in Hyderabad, casting his vote and later engaging with the media to emphasize the importance of citizens exercising their voting rights. Dressed in a pink-toned T-shirt and black trousers, he arrived at his designated polling station in Jubilee Hills.

Prior to Keeravani, megastar Chiranjeevi, accompanied by his wife Surekha Konidela, exercised their voting rights during the same phase of Lok Sabha elections. After fulfilling his civic duty, Chiranjeevi, a Padma Vibhushan awardee, urged people to actively participate in the electoral process, emphasizing the significance of voting.

In a similar vein, actor Allu Arjun was spotted at a polling station in Hyderabad, encouraging citizens to cast their votes. Emphasizing the responsibility of every citizen, Allu Arjun stressed the importance of the election day, asserting his neutrality towards any political party.

Joining the ranks of those exercising their franchise were NTR Jr and filmmaker Teja, notable figures in Telugu cinema, who arrived at the polling booths in Telangana.

The fourth phase of polling commenced at 7 am and will continue until 6 pm across all Lok Sabha constituencies, including assembly seats, encompassing 96 Parliamentary Constituencies. Simultaneously, polling for all 175 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh and 28 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Odisha also commenced.

Among the 96 Lok Sabha seats, Andhra Pradesh has 25, Telangana has 17, Uttar Pradesh has 13, Maharashtra has 11, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal each have eight, Bihar has five, Jharkhand and Odisha each have four, and Jammu and Kashmir has one.

According to the Election Commission, a total of 4,264 nominations were filed for the 96 parliamentary constituencies. The ongoing fourth phase witnesses significant contests with leaders such as AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, West Bengal Congress chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, TMC leader Mahua Moitra, BJP leader Giriraj Singh, JDU’s Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan Singh), and TMC leaders Shatrughan Sinha and Yusuf Pathan vying for victory.
