Doug Burgum
North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has reportedly received vice-presidential vetting materials from the Trump campaign. Despite this, Burgum has downplayed the speculation, stating that the focus should be on the issues rather than who might be the VP. He believes Trump can win the election independently.
Marco Rubio
Florida Senator Marco Rubio is considered a strong contender for Trump’s running mate. Six individuals familiar with the search have highlighted Rubio’s potential, noting that he checks nearly every box despite both being from Florida.
