On Monday, users of the social media platform Reddit reported widespread outages, with many unable to access the site on desktop and mobile. According to Downdetector.com, the service disruptions affected users globally, leading to over 200 reported incidents.

While there has been no immediate comment from Reddit regarding the cause of the outage, reports indicate that the issue may stem from a “no healthy upstream” error on desktop, alongside an “upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers” with a reset reason citing connection failure.

Frustrated users turned to alternative social media platforms like Facebook and X to express their concerns and seek information, with some awaiting official updates from the company.

This marks the third outage Reddit has faced in three months, following similar issues in August and September. In previous instances, the company labeled the incidents as “degraded performance for Reddit,” resolving the problems swiftly.
