During his official visit to the United Kingdom, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav toured the renowned Kings Cross Redevelopment Project in London. The CM, accompanied by a state delegation, interacted with Tom Goodall of Related Argent to learn about sustainable urban renewal, heritage preservation, and modern infrastructure development.
The insights gained from this visit are expected to inspire Madhya Pradesh’s plans to rejuvenate underutilized spaces, like the Hukumchand Mill Land in Indore, into vibrant economic and cultural hubs.
Focus on Sustainable Development and Global Collaboration
The Madhya Pradesh government aims to leverage global expertise for sustainable and inclusive urban development. Yadav highlighted the potential for Madhya Pradesh to align with global standards through such collaborations.
“This visit is a step towards transforming Madhya Pradesh into a global investment destination and a model for sustainable urban growth,” he stated.

Earlier in the day, CM Yadav hosted a lunch meeting where he extended an invitation to the UK to join Madhya Pradesh as a Partner Country for the Global Investors Summit scheduled for February 2025 in Bhopal.

Strengthening India-UK Relations
Citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Living Bridge,” CM Yadav emphasized the dynamic partnership between India and the UK, driven by technology, innovation, and knowledge exchange. He underlined how this synergy could significantly benefit both nations.
A Visionary International Outreach
CM Yadav’s week-long visit to the UK and Germany, from November 24 to 30, underscores Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to fostering industrial growth and forging international partnerships beyond investments.
“This visit is a testament to our dedication to creating a globally competitive Madhya Pradesh,” the Chief Minister concluded.
