The megafood event “World Food India 2023″ will have its second edition officially opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The event will begin at 10 a.m. in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam.

The Prime Minister’s Office stated in an official statement, “This support will help SHGs gain better price realisation in the market through improved packaging and quality manufacturing.” In addition, the Prime Minister will open “Food Street” in conjunction with World Food India 2023. It will be a one-of-a-kind culinary experience with over 200 chefs participating and presenting traditional Indian cuisine, along with regional cuisines and royal culinary heritage.

Government agencies, business people in the field, farmers, entrepreneurs, and other interested parties will be able to network, form partnerships, and look into investment opportunities in the agri-food sector. There will be CEO roundtables with an emphasis on investment and business ease of doing business. There will be a number of pavilions erected to highlight the strength and inventiveness of the Indian food processing sector. 48 sessions covering various facets of the food processing industry will be held during the event, with a focus on quality control, financial empowerment, and advancements in machinery and technology.
