There has been an increase in voting, including female voters, in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections. This time, 1,868,788 more votes were cast by the women of the state. The percentage of female voter turnout has also increased from 74.66 to 74.72 this time. In Rajasthan, the percentage of female voter turnout is the highest on 88 assembly seats. The seats that remained at the forefront of female voting in the assembly elections are Pokhran, Ghatol, Badi, Shahpura, and Baytu. In Pokhran, 88.23%, Ghatol 85.40%, Badi 84.66%, Shahpura 84.44%, and Baytu 85.04% of women cast their votes.
The highest female voter turnout was in Pokhran. On this seat, the BJP’s Mahant Pratappuri received the most votes. Although the BJP remained ahead in the main five seats, except for Pokhran, Congress received the most female votes in Ghatol, Shahpura, and Baytu. In this series, the seat that remained at the third position, Badi, has Jaswant Singh Gurjar of the BSP as the favourable candidate among female voters. In Badi, Congress candidate Giriraj Singh Malinga was the closest contender. Women have given the least votes to the BJP in the last five seats. After the BJP, Congress has the least votes on the remaining four seats with fewer votes. In this regard, it can be seen that the direct impact of female voting is on the BJP’s victory.
