Q. What motivated you to co-found the company, and how has your journey been so far?
A. The journey has been a remarkable one. The motivation behind co-founding ThoughtSol a decade ago was rooted in trust, friendship, and a shared passion for bringing about positive change. I have no regrets about the decision. Over the years, we faced highs and lows, but I’ve given my all to this venture. The camaraderie and trust that were the foundation of our friendship and partnership have played a crucial role in our success. I am genuinely happy and content with the path we’ve walked, the relationships we’ve forged, and the impact we’ve made.
Q. Could you explain your 10 years of journey with ThoughtSol?
A. Over the past decade, my journey with ThoughtSol has been full of highs and lows, like any other entrepreneur. I dedicated myself entirely to the company’s success, and the transformation has been tremendous. I embraced the difficulties, using them as opportunities for growth and learning. As we celebrate the 10th Foundation Day, I am optimistic about the opportunities that lie ahead, both for our company and for women in the tech industry as a whole. The journey, with all its challenges and triumphs, has been an invaluable chapter in my life, and I eagerly anticipate the chapters yet to be written.
Q. Which emerging technologies do you believe will have a significant impact on digital solutions shortly?
A. I see Artificial Intelligence playing a pivotal role in shaping the future. Additionally, a strong emphasis on sustainability is crucial, with green technology paving the way for innovations that give back to the environment. Balancing technological advancements with a commitment to sustainability will undoubtedly define the landscape of digital solutions in the near future.
Q. What strategies do you employ to encourage creativity and innovation within your team?
A. Fostering a culture of open communication is paramount in encouraging creativity and innovation within our team. We believe that “no question is a stupid question”, and every idea is worthy of consideration. This approach cultivates an environment where team members feel empowered to share their thoughts and push boundaries. By embracing diverse perspectives and encouraging collaboration, we’ve been able to unlock the full creative potential of our team.
Q. What advice would you give to the women to build a career in digital solutions or technology leadership?
A. So, recently, during a partner event in the U.S., I found myself as the only female entrepreneur present. This stark gender disparity surprised me, but it did not shake my confidence. This experience made me realize the importance of resilience and self-belief. My advice to women aspiring to build a career in digital solutions or technology leadership is to embrace challenges, stay confident in your abilities, and seek opportunities to learn and grow. Surround yourself with mentors and allies, and don’t be afraid to voice your ideas. Remember, breaking barriers may be challenging, but it’s also immensely rewarding – paving the way for a more inclusive and diverse future in the tech industry.
