After the enactment of the Women’s Power Recognition Law, the BJP is now making an effort to send a significant message in the upcoming assembly elections. Wherever elections are held in states, the BJP will give more tickets to women than in the previous elections. The names of women have been included in the panel on approximately 45 seats in Rajasthan.

It is believed that on about 35 to 40 seats, the BJP will field women candidates. However, it is also believed that the tickets of current women MLAs will not be cut. It is worth mentioning that in the 2018 assembly elections, 10 women MLAs won on BJP tickets. Among them were Vasundhara Rajfrom Jhalrapatan, Santosh Bawri from Anupgarh, Siddhi Kumari from Bikaner East, Suryakanta Vyas from Soorsagar, Anita Bhadel from Ajmer South, Kalpana Devi from Ladpura, Deepti Maheshwari from Rajasamand, Chandrakanta Meghwal from Keshoraipatan, Shobha Chauhan from Sojat, and Shobharani Kushwaha from Dhaulpur.

However, due to cross-voting in the Rajya Sabha elections, Shobharani Kushwaha has been expelled from the party. The party is focusing more on those seats that are in the reserved category. In this regard, consideration is being given to fielding women candidates in those seats. Along with this, the party has also made a plan to field strong women candidates in the seats where the party has been losing for a long time.
