Following the victory of Aam Admi Party (AAP) in assembly elections held in Punjab recently and the debacle of the Congress party, a question continues to arise whether AAP will be in a position to replace the Congress or not and emerge as a substitute for the Congress in Haryana or contrary to this. To some extent, the political experts agree with the opinion that in wake of the ongoing feud in the Congress, the AAP is most likely to emerge as a strong substitute in Haryana.

Everyone is familiar with the fact that the Congress party is a divided house in Haryana which continuously led to cause harm to the Congress in Haryana. Presently, the two factions in party belonging to the leader of the opposition and the senior party leader, Bhupendra Singh Hooda, and the state party present Kumari Sailja do exist in the state prominently. The widened rift among both factions is continuously being reported which added to the woes of the party high command. Despite the serious efforts of the party high command, the State Congress leaders are leaving no stone unturned to prove their dominance over each other.

As many as 31 legislators were elected on the ticket of Congress which made the Congress second largest part of Haryana. Out of these, about two doesn’t legislators are believed to be standing openly its part of Bhupendra Singh Hooda while just 4 legislators belong to Kumari Shailja faction which clearly indicates that Hooda is much more powerful and dominating in the state’s Congress bandwagon. Thus, the whole ongoing scenario clearly depicts the worsening and miserable condition of the State Congress party Haryana. In wake of this, the political experts believe that AAP is likely to affect the upcoming assembly elections and might be the option of Congress.

Discontent, former stalwart leader of Congress Nirmal Singh and his daughter Chitra Sarwara head join with Aam Aadami Party in presence of the party Supremo and the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal which strengthen the speculations that some other dissent leaders are most likely to join the up the AAP in future ahead of assembly polls in Haryana.

Before this, former State Congress President Ashok Tanwar who had joined Trinamool Congress (TMC) later also shook hands with increasing the problems of other parties in Haryana to some extent.

Given new political developments in the state, no one seems in a position to deny that some other political leaders are most likely to join the AAP.
