Assuming the title of ‘Baroness Hazarika of Coatbridge’ following the grant of a life peerage, Hazarika brings a wealth of experience from diverse backgrounds, including her role as a Scottish political aide, a prominent member of the United Kingdom’s Labour Party, and a law graduate from the University of Hull.
