WhatsApp has undergone a transformation, with Meta’s messaging platform introducing a new interface featuring green accents to align with the brand’s color. This update is being deployed on both iOS and Android devices, with reports indicating its rollout in India. While not all users have received the update yet, WhatsApp stated that everyone will eventually get it, though it may take some time.

The changes include adjustments to spacing, colors, icons, and overall aesthetics, aimed at providing a modern and user-friendly experience. Notable alterations on Android devices include a darker Dark Mode, increased white space in Light Mode, and a revamped color scheme throughout the app. Icons and buttons have been updated, and some areas are now more spacious. The placement of the WhatsApp logo and navigation tabs has shifted to the bottom of the Chats tab.

Similarly, iPhone users in India have observed the introduction of green accents matching the brand’s color. While there are no modifications to Dark Mode or Light Mode on iOS, the positioning of navigation controls remains unchanged, as they were already located at the bottom of the screen.
