Following the Supreme Court’s decision on Monday to reject Manish Sisodia’s bail request in relation to cases involving purported irregularities in the Delhi Excise Policy case, minister Atishi of the Aam Adami Party (AAP) declared that her party does not support the ruling of the highest court. Atishi stated at this press conference that the AAP will review the ruling and consider its legal options.

“We respect SC but do not agree with order dismissing Manish Sisodia bail plea. We will study it and explore legal options,” she said.
Further, the Delhi minister said that her party was and will remain honest.
“Not even a single leader of AAP is corrupt. The AAP was honest, is honest and will remain an honest party,” Atishi said.

On Monday, the Supreme Court denied Manish Sisodia’s bail request in relation to cases involving purported irregularities in the Delhi Excise Policy case. In the meantime, the BJP has declared that the Delhi Chief Minister will be arrested shortly because the Supreme Court’s ruling demonstrates how deeply corrupt the AAP is. “This ruling has demonstrated the extreme corruption of Manish Sisodia and the AAP… Arvind Kejriwal will also be arrested, as the arrest of AAP leaders is imminent, according to BJP leader and Lok Sabha MP Manoj Tiwary. Manish Sisodia was detained by the CBI in February 2023 on suspicion of committing irregularities in the formulation and execution of Delhi’s recently canceled excise policy. The policy was rescinded due to claims of misconduct.
