Haryana stood tall in the Olympics and Paralympics. Reacting to this, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said, “We feel proud that our ‘surmas’ have glorified the name of the state as well as the country.”

He was addressing the Salute Haryana programme organised by iTV Network on Friday evening. Apart from him, Jail and Power Minister Ranjit Singh, Agriculture Minister J.P. Dalal, Assembly Speaker Gyanchand Gupta, Education Minister Kanwar Pal also attended the event.

During the event, Kartikeya Sharma, founder of iTV Network, expressed his gratitude to all the guests. Former Union Minister Vinod Sharma and Ambala Mayor Shaktirani Sharma were also present on the occasion.

Lal said that there is scope for cabinet expansion in Haryana and discussion should also take place on this. There are 12 cabinet ministers present out of 14 and 2 seats are vacant and there has been discussion regarding the same as well.

CM, SPEAKER TO MEET SHAH ON NEW ASSEMBLY BUILDING

Haryana has 40 percent share in the assembly building but the state is getting only 27 percent. When Haryana was separated from Punjab, it was decided that Punjab would get 60 percent and Haryana would get the rest of the share, but this did not happen. Regarding this, Speaker Gyanchand Gupta told in the conversation that Punjab is not fulfilling the duty of being a big brother. The part which belongs to Haryana is not being given.

In such a situation, we have written to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah to give land for the construction of a new assembly and also give allowance for the construction of the same.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal has also written a letter to the Centre. It is expected that soon the CM and Speaker will meet Amit Shah regarding the matter. He said that work is also being done in the direction of new eassembly.

FARMERS’ MOVEMENT IS POLITICALLY MOTIVATED: DALAL

Agriculture Minister JP Dalal also participated in the program, talking about the farmers’ protest he said that it is politically motivated. “The opposition Congress party does not want the movement to end. They are completely against the farmers and are provoking them. All the Jathedars who are sitting on dharna on the border are on dharna at the behest of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder and Congress. Amarinder Singh asked the farmers not to sit on dharna in Punjab, but in Delhi and Haryana,” he added.

JP Dalal also said that it is clear from the statement of the Captain that he is using the farmers for his political gains.

HARYANA HAS ONLY 14% LINE LOSS: RANJIT SINGH

Ranjit Singh spoke on many issues related to his department. He said that new reforms are being adopted continuously in the electricity department. The number of villages where 24 hours electricity is being provided is increasing continuously. The line loss in Haryana is only 14 percent and the department has done a great job even in the time of Covid, due to which the profit has increased. As far as providing job on contract is concerned, this is being done so that the matter of recruitment does not get stuck in any court affair.

He also said that there is continuous improvement in the jails as well. Their facilities for prisoners are being improved and infrastructure is also being strengthened.

SOON INDIA WILL OVERTAKE CHINA: RAJESH JAIN

Rajesh Jain, chairman of LPS Bossord, said that India will soon overtake China in field of industry. Today, the slogan ‘Make in India’ given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought a new enthusiasm among all the industrialists of the country. This is the reason that today there has been a sudden increase in production in all industrial areas.
