A lot of us grapple with the challenge of defining and understanding our relationship with God. This struggle is often fuelled by uncertainties about the existence of a higher power and societal pressures that may stigmatize expressions of faith. Despite these doubts, an inner voice persists, hinting at the idea that God is a constant and continuous presence in our lives.

The Presence of God in Everyday Life
Spiritual teachings worldwide emphasize that God’s presence is not confined to grand, transcendent moments but can be found in the ordinary details of daily life. Mirabai’s devotion in her daily bhajans and Karmabai’s culinary offerings to her deity exemplify finding God in the mundane. Dismissing these stories as mere moral tales belies the profound depth and scope of God’s love and concern for each individual.

Recognizing Divine Intervention in Life’s Challenges
The Power of Prayer: Recall a moment of struggle when, despite the odds, things unexpectedly worked out. These instances, often deemed as miracles or coincidences, may be interpreted as the Hand of God intervening in our lives.
Proof of a Higher Power: In times of doubt about God’s existence, reflecting on past instances where challenges were overcome unexpectedly gives us proof of a higher power looking out for us.

God’s place in your Heart and Soul
While opulent places of worship may symbolize God’s grandeur, it is essential to recognize that God resides closest to us—within our hearts. Cultivate qualities like love, courage, clarity, authenticity, and joy to create a divine space within.
When you have these attributes within you, you will feel as though there is something truly special inside you, something divine, that urges you to live your best possible life.

Living with Purpose
When you live life from such a space you will feel a deep connection with God because your life will be filled with a sense of purpose, optimism and hope for the future and an entrenched belief in your ability to create a better world. Your life and your work will give you a sense of purpose and that is another great way to feel God’s presence in your life.
Embracing such life-attributes instils a sense of purpose, optimism, and hope, fosters a deep connection with God. Life takes on a divine quality, filled with a belief in your ability to contribute to a better world.

Reconnecting with Divinity Through Nature
If you have been feeling distant or disconnected from Divinity recently; then a good way to reconnect is to spend time in Nature. When we take a walk in the park we connect with unseen natural rhythms and energies that are part of God’s creativity. We begin to feel one with Nature.
Spending time in nature can be a powerful, spiritual remedy. A walk in the park or moments spent caring for plants helps us align and recentre our focus. We can connect with a deep sense of peace and calmness. This is a great way to feel God’s touch near you.
Reconnecting with Nature fosters a sense of oneness with God. If, you have a doubt then spend some time at the beach or in any space where you can see and feel Nature. If nothing else, spend some time caring for the plants in your house. You will feel a connection with something greater than yourself; you will find a way back to your true Cosmic essence and to God.
By embracing the presence of God in our hearts, acknowledging divine support and guidance in life’s challenges, and reconnecting through Nature, we pave the way for a more profound and fulfilling connection with God in our lives.
