A newly installed sewage pipe burst during a routine pressure test in Nanning, China, launching human waste 33 feet into the air. A shocking dashcam video captured the moment when an orange fountain of excrement erupted from the pipeline. The force of the explosion was so intense that it nearly cracked a car’s windshield. The incident occurred while experienced engineers were conducting a standard pressure test, a routine procedure in China to ensure the durability of newly installed pipelines. However, the outcome was both unexpected and startling.

According to reports, the Nanning Municipal Emergency Management Bureau confirmed that the sewage outburst was caused by a rupture in the septic tank line. The bureau dismissed initial claims that the pipe burst due to accidental contact during road construction, clarifying that the explosion happened during the engineers’ pressure test.
