The Mukerji family’s Durga pandal in Mumbai is bustling with guests, as it is every year. During the sindoor khela celebrations on Dussehra, Sherlyn Chopra attempted to touch Rani Mukerji’s feet as a sign of respect before applying her sindoor.

In a video captured by a paparazzo, Sherlyn approached Rani with a big smile. Before Rani could respond, Sherlyn bent down to touch her feet. Rani appeared taken aback and quickly gestured for Sherlyn not to do that. Following this, the two applied sindoor to each other as part of the festivities, and Sherlyn expressed her gratitude to Rani before continuing on her way.
For the occasion, Sherlyn wore a red and gold silk saree, enhancing her look with fresh flowers in her hair, while Rani chose a cream and gold saree paired with a red blouse.
