In a society where digital interactions often replace face-to-face connections, we all need a refreshing change. To have my share of change, I decided to head to Game Palacio with my friends and I wasn’t disappointed. I was seeking some real-world interactions and a platform for people to connect and bond over shared interests because it’s not just about living, it’s about living joyfully!
Here’s how I unwinded, got closer to my inner child and had a fun weekend in Delhi NCR. Read on!
Situated on the fifth level of Noida’s bustling DLF Mall of India, is a hidden gem for gaming enthusiasts and food lovers alike – Game Palacio. As Delhi NCR’s first immersive gaming arcade, Game Palacio offers a unique blend of entertainment and dining that caters to both kids and adults. The arcade is a treasure trove of video games, each one more enticing than the last. From classic arcade games that brought a wave of nostalgia such as the claw games, aur hockey, bike and car rides, and hit the ring to the latest Gen Z video games that challenged our skills—Game Palacio had it all!
The bowling alley and the cricket zone was a particular highlight, offering a fun and competitive experience that brought out the sportsman in us. The trampoline park, on the other hand, was a hit among the kids, and also my group, providing us with a safe and enjoyable space to let loose and have fun. We jumped and jumped for 45 minutes and it was such a bummer to leave the trampoline area!
After a thrilling gaming session, we headed to Kamikaze, the in-house cocktail bar and multi-cuisine restaurant. The menu was a foodie’s delight, offering a variety of dishes that catered to our diverse palates. For the sushi and dimsums lover that I am, the spicy sushi was a fiery treat, perfectly balanced by the creamy cheese truffle dumplings. The bhatti chicken and mutton kebab were succulent and flavorful, leaving my friends craving for more.
The drinks at Kamikaze were as impressive as the food. Each cocktail was crafted with precision, offering a refreshing respite from the excitement of the games. My favourite has to be the rosemary, thyme and orange concoction!
My arcade evening out with friends ended on a sweet note with a delectable brownie served with ice cream. As a late 90’s kid, I love arcades and gaming parlours and always sneak into amusement parks and arcades to relive my childhood! Game Palacio proved to be more than just a gaming arcade for me as it brings people together through shared experiences. It’s a place where I made new memories and relived the gone days!
