After the announcement of the Indian team for the T20 World Cup, many questions emerged, including whether it is right for Team India to exclude KL Rahul and Rinku Singh. Is it the right decision to keep Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel, the same type of bowlers in the squad?

Virat Kohli’s coach Rajkumar Sharma and former Indian player Atul Wassan expressed their opinion on the T20 World Cup squad in a conversation with Sunil Yash Kalra, founder, ‘Indian Sports Fans’ on CRICIT PREDICTA powered by 1XBAT, a live TV show on India News, discussing the correctness of the team selected for the T20 World Cup 2024.

Rajkumar Sharma expressed happiness on the selection of the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2024. Said “The team is very balanced, there is a mix of experienced and young players in this squad. T20 World Cup is a big platform, here instead of choosing players who have performed well in some of the IPL matches, the selectors have gone after experienced players. I am happy about that. It is good that Chahal has been included in the team. The team has two aggressive bowlers in the form of Kuldeep and Chahal who can bowl brilliantly in the middle overs and Jadeja provides balance to the team.”

Virat Kohli’s guru’s befitting reply to his critics said “No one cares about such false news that Virat Kohli should not go to the World Cup. Virat is a very big player. Virat is very popular among everyone’s favorite fans. The team captain and selectors know how important it is to have Virat in the team. Atul Wassan expressed concern over Rinku Singh’s ouster. Not surprised by KL Rahul’s exit from the team ‘’The biggest news is that Rinku Singh has not been kept in the team. The player who was prepared as a finisher in T20 and did well for Team India in the last 2-3 series, you removed him at the last moment. This is exactly the way Ambati Rayudu was prepared before the 2019 ODI World Cup but he was dropped from the team at the last moment.”
