Following the first presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, a surprising topic became the center of attention on social media. Users on X (formerly Twitter) were captivated by Harris’s distinctive earrings, speculating about their function. Several Trump supporters suggested the earrings could be wireless earphones, used by Harris to receive external guidance during the debate.
The earrings, which some claimed resembled Nova H1 Audio Earrings, are known for their ability to function as discreet wireless earphones while maintaining the appearance of fashionable accessories. “It seems Kamala Harris was receiving coaching through earphones embedded in her earrings during the debate,” one X user asserted.
Another social media user remarked, “Kamala performed well against Trump, a strong debater, but her earrings caught my attention. They looked similar to ones I had seen in a tech article about earphone-like earrings.”
On the other hand, several people argued that Harris’s earrings were likely Tiffany HardWear pearl earrings, rather than Nova H1 Audio Earrings. A photo of the Tiffany earrings circulating online suggested that they bore a striking resemblance to the ones Harris wore. The earrings retail for over $3,300 but are no longer available on Tiffany’s official website.
Some observers also noted Harris’s frequent choice of pearls as a tribute to her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, speculating that her earring selection was more about personal style than technology. Photos from past events show Harris regularly sporting similar pearl earrings, further indicating her preference for this classic look.
Despite the widespread speculation, there is no evidence supporting claims that Harris used earphones during the debate.
Nova H1 Audio Earrings, featured on Kickstarter, are a cutting-edge accessory that combines style with technology. These clip-on wireless earphones are designed to look like traditional pearl earrings but offer Bluetooth connectivity, built-in microphones, and the ability to discreetly listen to music or access a digital assistant.
According to the product description, the earrings are worn on the earlobes and direct sound from inside the pearl into the wearer’s ear canal. Each earring also has two tiny high-end microphones, providing users with crystal-clear phone calls and noise cancellation features.
Although Nova H1 Audio Earrings have garnered attention, neither the company behind the product nor Harris’s team have made any statements addressing the claims.
