Reports of mysterious UFOs in different US regions have flooded social media lately. In Morristown, New Jersey, a cell phone video captured what appeared to be drones hovering just above treetops last week. Within the past two weeks, residents and law enforcement reported many similar sightings. Mendham Township resident Ryan Dawson told CBS News, “My wife and I were driving. We saw one right up above us that was the size of our car. I mean, it’s crazy.”

These sightings were also made around the world, for instance, a UFO in Latvia, which was said to have been “perfectly still” till it slightly tilted and vanished. Other mysterious flying objects were also sighted in China and France.

Social Media Reactions

Different reactions were witnessed over social media to the sighting. One person who left a comment on X was, “These aliens be flying anything.” Another stated, “That is the most uncool UFO I have ever seen in my life. It looks as if it’s made of cardboard and latex house paint.” A third guy was more analytical; he theorized that this “This is simply from diatoms at the bottom of swamps releasing positive ions into the carbon layered floor of glacial moraines that cause a reaction in the atmosphere that cause photons to explode and release methane.”

Other reactions included, “An Alien putting its wheelie bin out, its collection day tomorrow.” One user questioned, “What’s weird to me is that if they’re real and this a draft why all the different shapes? Why are some just floating and some actually moving?”
