A Trailblazer in the Sky

Kalfon, whose connections to jet suits have been in the past few years, revealed his excitement about flying at the summit. His flight, which uses mini jet engines (two on each arm and three on his back) that deliver the 1,000 horsepower powertrain, enables him to hover in mid-air for up to seven hours. Kalfon, one member of a group of eight, enjoyed the kinds of solo practice he was doing in India, therefore, he announced that he would continue to fly the whole time of the summit.

The Jet Suit: Changing Technological Trends

After the jet suit was created by Gravity Industries, it first became famous in 2017. The suit is programmed with both precision and power technology, meaning that they have a breath-taking speed of up to 85 mph and can be climbed to a height of 12,000 feet. One of the most revolutionary functions of the suit is its remote control navigation, which lets the pilot perform precise changes in the course during flight.

Beyond the Spectacle

Although the airplane flight of Kalfon amused the audience, the possibilities of applying the jet suit to other fields than entertainment are tremendous. The technology is being used in various sectors like search-and-rescue operations and extreme sports that will benefit from the wearable aviation technology. Its flexibility shows that the possibilities of personal flight have taken a giant step forward.
