Elon Musk Jokes About Microsoft During Big Global Outage

Elon Musk made fun of Microsoft after a big global outage affected their services. On Friday, Microsoft experienced a major server problem that caused issues for users worldwide, including banks and airlines. Musk took this chance to post two tweets joking about Microsoft.

In one tweet, he brought back an old joke from 2021, saying “Macrohard >> Microsoft,” but added that “Teams is pretty good.” In a recent post, he shared laughing emojis in response to a meme showing a man enjoying a cricket match with the caption, “everything else is down, this app still works.”

The outage affected Microsoft 365 apps and services, causing major disruptions in many areas. A website called DownDetector, which tracks online outages, reported problems not only with Microsoft but also with Visa, ADT security, Amazon, and several airlines like American Airlines and Delta. Indian airlines such as SpiceJet, IndiGo, Air India, and Akasa also faced issues. The outage impacted banks, telecom companies, and media in places like Australia and New Zealand.

Microsoft is working to fix the problem by rerouting traffic to other systems. They said they see a positive trend in service availability as they address the issue.

Despite the serious outage, Musk’s jokes added some humor to the situation, showing his love for poking fun at other big tech companies.
