Chinese Tourist Leaning Out of Train for Reels Hit by Tree Branch in Sri Lanka, Survives | WATCH

A Chinese woman has narrowly escaped serious injury after being struck by a tree while traveling on a train in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Sunday. The tourist had been leaning out of the train to take pictures and shoot reels when a tree branch hit her, causing her to fall from the moving train.

In a video of the incident, the woman can be seen perilously hanging outside the train by the handrails. She was recording a video with a friend when the tree branch struck her and caused her to fall. She survived with minor injuries.

Despite the scary scenes, police reported that she had miraculously escaped with minor injuries. The bushes to which she fell cushioned her fall because they protaected her head, which otherwise would have seriously been harmed. Authorities confirmed that the tourist only suffered some scratches.

The police have thus called on tourists to be careful at all times while traveling aboard trains.
