Love-related conflicts are common across the globe, and a recent incident in China illustrates just how intense such situations can become. A 27-year-old nurse at Wuxi People’s Hospital in Jiangsu province found herself at the center of a dramatic dispute between two doctors.
Both doctors, aged 50, were unaware that the nurse was romantically involved with both of them simultaneously. Upon discovering the double-dating, the doctors’ jealousy led to a heated confrontation. The altercation escalated to the point where one doctor, named Xu, sustained a serious head injury and required admission to the ICU after initial treatment at the hospital’s orthopaedics department.
Reports indicate that the nurse had received lavish gifts from both doctors, including a luxury villa from one and a high-end car from the other. An official from the hospital stated that an investigation into the incident is underway and appropriate measures will be taken based on the findings. The nurse has since returned to her home. The official commented, “We will look into the matter and will take appropriate action against the person who is responsible for this incident.”
