Actress Alia Bhatt awed everyone with her attendance at the 69th National Film Awards ceremony.
Alia wore her wedding day saree to accept the Best Actress award at the illustrious event, unquestionably a significant gesture to sustainable fashion.
After receiving the award, Alia took to Instagram Story to give her opinions on wearing the same ivory saree from renowned designer Sabyasachi’s own line. Fans were perplexed as to why she kept wearing the same outfit.
“A special day calls for a special outfit. And sometimes… that outfit is already right there What’s special once can be special again. And again…:) #rewear # reuse #repeat MA,” she wrote, adding a picture of herself in the six yards of pure grace.

Additionally, Alia posted a couple images with her husband Ranbir, who gave her the greatest applause.
Ranbir wore a black bandhgala blazer to the event.
Alia proudly displayed her medal in one of the photos while Ranbir snapped a photograph of the two of them.
Ranbir and her can be seen strolling down the hallway together in the last image of the collection.
Kriti Sanon and Allu Arjun, who received honors during the occasion, were also in a photo that Alia released.
