Vijayawada’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court has postponed its decision regarding the bail plea of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, until Monday.

After the conclusion of the bail and custody petition arguments in the ACB court on Friday, Advocate Krishna Murthy mentioned that the verdict would be declared on Monday.

Previously, Naidu’s remand was extended by the ACB court until October 19 in the alleged skill development scam case. “The judge has extended the judicial remand until the 19th of this month,” affirmed Pramod Kumar Dubey, Naidu’s advocate.

Chandrababu Naidu, also the chief of TDP, was arrested on September 9 over his alleged involvement in the multi-crore skill development scam.

This arrest has caused a significant political upheaval in Andhra Pradesh. Several TDP leaders have labelled this arrest as a political vendetta, claiming Naidu was detained based on unfounded allegations.

Furthermore, the Supreme Court denied any immediate relief to Chandrababu Naidu concerning the said case earlier this week.
