Advocate Vijay Bansal, a former state secretary and chairman of the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee, spearheaded a public relations campaign in Hangoli village, Raipur Rani block, under the ‘Ghar Ghar Congress, Har Ghar Congress’ initiative.

During the campaign, he disseminated information about the Congress policies and distributed copies of the Congress manifesto to the villagers. Accompanied by Om Prakash, Tejbhan Gandhi, and Ajay Babbal, Vijay Bansal actively engaged with the community, addressing their concerns and listening to the problems faced by the residents.

Prominent figures, including former village sarpanch Mohanlal Sharma, Ram Karan Sharma, Satish Kumar Sharma, Krishna Kumar Sharma, Bachna Ram Sharma, Bhula Ram, Ramesh Kumar Sharma, Jarnail Singh, Manish Kumar, Rajneesh Kumar, Ram Chander, and others, also presented their issues to Vijay Bansal.

The villagers, expressing their grievances, highlighted the significant challenge of youth unemployment. They called for the initiation of the Yamunanagar-Chandigarh Rail Project and a canal project for Raipur Rani’s irrigation, advocating for the subdivision status for Raipur Rani to catalyze development. They urged the revival of stalled rural development projects in the area.

Advocate Vijay Bansal criticized the BJP-JJP coalition government, accusing it of consistently neglecting the Kalka assembly constituency in terms of development. He emphasized the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections as a golden opportunity for the people to bring about a change in government. Bansal urged citizens to use their voting power to remove a government that, in his view, perpetuates division in society.
Bansal recalled the previous Congress government’s approval of the Yamunanagar-Chandigarh rail line project, which could have significantly benefited Raipur Rani and adjacent areas. However, he lamented that the project was canceled by the current government.

Additionally, Bansal highlighted the failure to declare Raipurani as a subdivision, forcing residents to travel considerable distances to Panchkula for their daily activities, resulting in wasted time and resources.

Pooja Bansal, addressing the youth unemployment crisis, criticized the government for closing down employment opportunities, especially the HMT tractor factory, which adversely impacted the livelihoods of many. She underscored the need for pro-farmer initiatives, such as the canceled canal construction project aimed at welfare and groundwater level improvement, which had been approved during the Congress government’s tenure.
