Hyundai Motor India has launched the N Line model of its popular SUV, Venue, in the market. The is the second N-Line model from the company in India, after the i20 N Line that was launched in 2021. The Venue N Line features 30 unique and exclusive elements that contribute to a sportier experience when compared to the regular Venue. In all there’s enough to differentiate between the N Line and the Venue be in terms of aesthetics or dynamics.

DESIGN

The SUV is built on Hyundai’s “Sensuous Sportiness” design theme and gets many motorsport inspired design cues. So, you get a dark chrome front grille with N Line Logo that along with a N Line exclusive bumper with skid plates and roof rails with red inserts.

The 16-inch diamond cut alloys also come with N Branding. The car also gets red front brake callipers along with side sill garnish with red inserts. On the rear, apart from a tail gate spoiler, the rear bumper gets a different look with red inserts on skid plate, while the twin tip muffler is surely a highlight. The Hyundai Venue N Line also features the N Line emblem on the tailgate, something unique to India.

INTERIORS

The cabin too draws its inspiration from Hyundai’s Motorsport DNA. You’re greeted by a sporty black interior with athletic red inserts that enhances the appeal of the car.

The car gets N branding on full leather seats, 3-spoke steering wheel and the gear knob. You also get red ambient lighting long with sporty metal pedals and dark metal finish inside door handles. Apart from an electric sunroof, the car also gets features like a wireless phone charger, Type-C charging points and metal pedals. The Venue N Line also boasts of first in segment Dashcam with dual camera, this unique feature also enables customers to record their drives

The car gets an 8-inch HD Infotainment System with Bluelink which is compatible with Android Auto & Apple Carplay. Bluelink offers more than 60 connected car features which includes location based services, over-the-air navigation updates, remote services, vehicle diagnostics and voice assistant. The system also speaks in multiple regional plus 2 International languages. You also get Home-to-Car (H2C) feature with Alexa and google voice assistant.

ENGINE

The Venue N Line is Powered by the 1.0 Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol engine that is offered with a 7-Speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission). You get a maximum power of 120 PS along with a peak torque figure of 172 Nm at 1 500-4000 rpm. Like the i20 N Line there no iMT option available here. The car gets 3 drive modes —Normal, Eco and Sport, which ensure everything from higher fuel efficiency to great performance.

RIDE & HANDLING

With the Venue N Line, Hyundai has tried to give you a sporty SUV experience unlike any other compact SUV in the segment. With specific tuning to suspension (damping force increased to 34%), steering, exhaust sound and incorporation of all 4-disc brakes, Hyundai says this N Line delivers better control while cornering, offers greater high-speed stability and enhanced ride quality. The car also gets over 30 safety features out of which 20+ safety features come as standard. These include hill assist control, ISOFIX as well as a tyre pressure monitoring system.

PRICES

The Venue N Line has been launched in just 2 variants called the N6 and N8 which are priced at Rs. 12.16 lakh and 13.15 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively.

It comes in 2 monotone colour options, shadow grey (new) and polar white; as well as 3 dual tone colour options – thunder blue with phantom black roof, polar white with phantom black roof and shadow grey with phantom black roof.

Hyundai is also offering 7 years extended warranty option, 3 years free road-side assistance and 3 Year-Blue Link subscription on the car.
