Politics takes many twists and turns, leaving certain ideas and expressions open to interpretations. This was vindicated on Thursday when MP Varun Gandhi wrote an emotional letter to the people of his parliamentary constituency Pilibhit.

“Even though my tenure as an MP is coming to an end, my relationship with Pilibhit will continue till my last breath. If not as an MP, then as a son, I am committed to serving you throughout my life, and my doors will always remain open for you as before,” his letter read.

“I came into politics to raise the voice of the common man and today I seek your blessings to always continue doing this work, no matter what the cost,” he added.
The letter comes as the first reaction from Varun Gandhi after the party denied him a ticket from Pilbhit.

Varun Gandhi’s a one-page letter stated his determination to persistently oppose the anti-people policies of the government. This indicates his commitment to advocating for the people’s voice, even if it leads to repercussions.

Experts speculate that Varun will not maintain silence in near future. Through this message, along with the people of Pilibhit, he conveyed his ongoing struggle for the common people of the nation. The question remains whether Varun will remain in the BJP in the days ahead or pursue alternative actions.

However, in the very beginning of the letter, Varun reminisced about the profound memories that have shaped his journey, recalling his first visit to Pilibhit as a three-year-old child in 1983. He further says that little did he know then that this land would become his workplace and its people his family. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people of Pilibhit, attributing his upbringing and development to their ideals, simplicity, and kindness.

Serving as their representative has been the greatest honor of his life, and he has consistently raised his voice for their interests. It is noteworthy that for the first time in three decades, a candidate from outside the Maneka Gandhi family is contesting from Pilibhit. Despite uncertainties about his future political path, Varun’s commitment to serving the people remains unwavering. This will be the first time in three decades he says that someone from outside the Maneka Gandhi family will represent the constituency.
