Debris at Kwarb Bridge has obstructed traffic on the Almora-Haldwani Road National Highway in Uttarakhand. An official posted on X that work is being done to open the road and that people will be informed when it is ready for traffic.
An injured person who was stuck on the Badrinath highway as a result of falling debris in the Chamoli area was rescued earlier on August 25 by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), according to officials.
According to the SDRF, Kotwali in Joshimath received word late on Thursday night that a person had been hurt and was trapped because of falling debris close to the Pagalnala area of Chamoli district.
In the dead of night, a crew from the SDRF arrived on the scene right away and started a rescue operation.
