The United States has conveyed Republic Day wishes to India, acknowledging it as a crucial strategic partner. The US State Department’s Principal Deputy Spokesperson, Vedant Patel, emphasized India’s significance during Prime Minister Modi’s recent state visit to the United States. Russian Ambassador to India, Denis Alipov, also extended warm congratulations on India’s 75th Republic Day, expressing wishes for prosperity and well-being.
Meanwhile, India is gearing up for a significant platinum celebration of its Republic Day, showcasing military prowess and cultural heritage at the ‘Kartavya Path’ in the national capital. President Droupadi Murmu will lead the grand celebrations, focusing on Viksit Bharat’s cultural diversity, ‘Aatmanirbhar’ military strength, and the growing influence of Nari Shakti.
The event includes the unfurling of the National Flag, the National Anthem, and a 21-gun salute using indigenous gun systems, marking a salute to India’s timeless gift to fashion, the saree, through the ‘Anant Sutra – The Endless Thread’ textile installation.
