A senior administration official stated that the United States has welcomed India’s assistance in bringing about enduring peace in Ukraine

“I will say with respect to what other countries of the world can do, we welcome the role that India or any other country could play in helping achieve a just and lasting peace that recognizes Ukraine’s territorial integrity and recognizes Ukraine’s sovereignty,” . Matthew Miller, Spokesperson of the State Department answered to the question of reporters at a news conference.

According to Mathew Miller, as the Russian invasion of Ukraine reached its 500th day on Saturday, the Russian government has come to be seen as the main loser in the conflict in terms of its capacity to maintain stable economic conditions and its reputation around the world.

Miller continued by saying that both military personnel and equipment have significantly decreased as a result of Russia’s aggression towards Ukraine.

He also stressed the harm the Ukrainian invasion had done to Russia’s standing abroad. The Russian government is currently under international isolation and western sanctions as a result of its actions. The economy and exports of Russia have been impacted by all of this.

“A strategic failure for Russia, which has seen an enormous loss of both military personnel, but military equipment. It’s seen its standing in the world affected. It’s seen its economy crippled by the sanctions and export controls we’ve imposed,” Matthew Miller said in addition.
