Two doctors who were arrested for causing a public nuisance while inebriated have gone missing while receiving treatment at the district hospital in Bareilly, authorities said.
Dr. Shailesh Ranjan, emergency officer at the Bareilly district hospital, informed ANI that he received a call on Friday from Dr. LK Saxena informing him that the two accused physicians, Dr. Vaibhav Shukla and Dr. Rahul Bajpayee, were gone from the hospital.
“I received a call from Dr. LK Saxena saying that Dr. Vaibhav Shukla and Dr. Rahul Bajpayee have absconded and he asked me to send this information to police station…I got BHT (Bed Head Ticket) of both (Dr. Vaibhav and Dr. Rahul) from emergency…the BHT mentioned both to be absconded at 2 pm…” said emergency officer Dr. Ranjan.
