During a rally in Wisconsin, Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris successfully silenced hecklers by addressing Donald Trump supporters who were disrupting her speech. She suggested they “go to the smaller one down the street,” which elicited a strong round of applause from her supporters in the crowd.
Responses on social media were varied. One user on X expressed support, saying, “That’s MY POTUS,” while another user accused her of staging the incident, commenting, “We know she set that up. It was fake. She’s not a good actress!”
Harris made headlines by criticizing Trump’s stance on the sensitive issue of abortion and his Supreme Court appointments, which contributed to the overturning of Roe vs. Wade. While discussing this topic, MAGA supporters began shouting, “You lie, you lie!” Harris paused for a moment before replying, “Oh you guys are at the wrong rally!” This response prompted laughter and applause from the audience.
Wisconsin is one of the seven critical swing states that could determine the outcome of the upcoming presidential election. Harris’s rally in La Crosse aimed to connect with the state’s residents while addressing important issues.
At a different rally, Harris focused on female voters, arguing that Trump “has no idea” about women’s healthcare. She contested Trump’s claim that “everybody did not want Roe vs. Wade overturned,” saying, “Women are dying of sepsis because they did not get the healthcare they need. It just gets more unbelievable sometimes. And now the man calls himself the ‘father of IVF.’ I mean, what does that even mean?”
As of the latest polling averages from Decision Desk HQ and The Hill, Donald Trump holds a slight lead over Kamala Harris in Wisconsin, with less than a one percentage point advantage.
