Two masked men broke into the Windsor Castle estate in October, stealing two vehicles from a barn on the grounds. According to The Sun, the thieves used a stolen truck to break through a security gate at night, before scaling a six-foot fence to enter the property.

At the time of the burglary, King Charles and Queen Camilla were not at Windsor Castle, but Prince William and his family were believed to be staying at Adelaide Cottage, part of the sprawling estate. The incident occurred on the night of October 13, with local police receiving a report of a burglary shortly before midnight.

Thames Valley Police confirmed that the suspects entered a farm building and made off with a black Isuzu pickup truck and a red quad bike. They then fled the scene towards the nearby areas of Old Windsor and Datchet. No arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing.

Buckingham Palace has declined to comment on the incident. This break-in is the latest in a series of security concerns at the royal estate, following a 2021 incident when a man was arrested for attempting to enter the grounds with a crossbow, reportedly with intentions to harm Queen Elizabeth II.
