Here are some videos of Katy Perry returning to Earth:

Lauren Sanchez’s Experience

Lauren Sanchez, the first one to exit the capsule, hugged her fiancé Jeff Bezos when she landed. Describing her experience during the live telecast, she said, “Earth was. it was quiet. It was just so quiet,” she stated. “I don’t think you can put into words. It was quiet, but really, really alive. We’re all in this together. That’s all I could think about. We’re all so connected.” She also described her sheer elation, adding jokingly, “I had to come back” since she’s marrying Bezos.

Another crew member, Gayle King, also kissed the ground in a poignant gesture upon exiting the spacecraft. Oprah Winfrey, who was at the launch site, later shared a video of King and the NS-31 crew walking to the launchpad. She was visibly upset as King seemed to brush away tears.
