On Wednesday, January 10, Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will lay the foundation stone for the four-laning of the Fazilka-Hoshiarpur road. This announcement was made during a massive rally at Hoshiarpur›s Dussehra Ground.
Minister Som Prakash discussed these plans with journalists, highlighting the estimated cost of 1553 crore for the development of the Hoshiarpur-Fazilka road, including a bypass for Fazilka and an elevated road connecting Fazilka and Una.
This project marks a significant development for the people of Hoshiarpur in Punjab. Minister Som Prakash mentioned that alongside this, at 12 noon, Nitin Gadkari will address the public at the Dussehra Ground, unveiling several new projects and informing the locals about the assets acquired by the central government. Thousands of people from Hoshiarpur constituency will participate in this rally.
He compared this milestone with the unmatched development of the national highway by Gadkari, like the flyovers, which the Congress government couldn›t achieve in its 60 years of rule.
The project›s completion will not only enhance connectivity but also bring new opportunities for employment to Hoshiarpur. Additionally, people from Ludhiana can now reach Hoshiarpur directly via the bypass, potentially alleviating traffic issues.
