PM Modi To Visit Russia, Check Full Schedule

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Russia for two days, from July 8 to 9 for 22nd India-Russia annual summit. Ahead of the visit, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra has revealed his schedule. This marks his first after winning Lok Sabha elections for the third time.

Revealing details about the program, foreign secretary Kwatra said that PM Modi will pay an official visit to Moscow.

Here’s Full Schedule Of the Visit

  1. PM Modi Will Arrive in Russia’s Capital Moscow in the Late Afternoon of July 8.
  2. Russian President Vladimir Putin Will Host Private Dinner For Prime Minister on the day of arrival.
  3. On July 9, PM Modi Will Interact with Indian Community Staying in The Country.
  4. As a part of the program, He will also lay a wreath At the Tomb of Unknown Soldier in Kremlin.
  5. Thereafter, PM will pay a visit to Exhibition Venue at Moscow.
  6. Restricted Talks to be Conducted between two leaders.
  7. Delegation Talks To be held, which will be led by two leaders respectively.

Later after his Russia trip, PM Modi will visit Austria from July 9 to 10, which will be first trip made by an Indian prime minister after 41 years.

He will meet Austria’s president H.E. Mr. Alexander Van der Bellen and will conduct talks with country’s chancellor H.E. Mr. Karl Nehammer. Along with Nehammer, Prime minister will also interact with business leaders of both the countries.

Like Moscow, PM Modi will also interact with Indian community present in Vienna.

According to the officials, PM Modi and Putin are likely to talk about global and regional security and trade.

Meanwhile, the annual summit is considered highest institutional dialogue, which is conducted between two countries.

Currently, around 21 annual summits have taken place between India and Russia alternatively.

The Last summit happened in New Delhi On December 2021.
