Congress proposes meeting after Karnataka poll

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is moving around the country to meet the opposition leaders of many states. The idea is to hold a grand meeting of likeminded opposition parties to formulate strategy for the next LokSabha poll. Initially Congress party wanted to hold meeting in national capital. But West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee put forward an alternative proposal to hold the meeting in Patna. Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena Uddhav faction also wants to have a meeting with opposition leaders. One Shiv Sena leader is also going to meet the West Bengal Chief Minister. Now the Congress party insists on holding the meeting just after the Karnataka poll. The Congress Party proposes that the day the Karnataka election campaign will be over,opposition parties should sit together and give a message to the electorate of Karnataka that now the opposition has got together to take on the BJP. Whether all the opposition parties will agree to this proposal is yet to be seen.
