The Uttar Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation is committed to providing uninterrupted power supply to consumers. The Corporation is implementing numerous ambitious programs for the swift resolution of consumer problems. The Chairman and members of the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum of the North Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation Circle Forum, Panchkula, will conduct proceedings on 6th February (Tuesday) from 11:30 am in the office of the Superintending Engineer, Panchkula, SCO No. 96, 1st Floor, Sector-5.
Providing information on this matter, the spokesperson of the corporation stated that the forum members will address all types of problems faced by consumers in the Panchkula district. These issues primarily include complaints related to billing, voltage, metering, disconnection and connection, interruptions in power supply, efficiency, lack of safety, reliability, and disregard of orders of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, among others.
He emphasized that the forum will not entertain cases related to electricity theft and unauthorized use of electricity under Section 126 and Sections 135 to 139 of the Electricity Act, as well as cases related to investigations and accidents under Section 161. Consumers are urged to take advantage of this opportunity for the redressal of their complaints.
