The UAE has once again been recognized as the global leader in Fibre to the Home (FTTH) penetration, marking the eighth consecutive year the country has held this top position with a penetration rate of 99.3 percent, according to the latest annual report from the FTTH Council.

The report examined data from 20 countries with over 50 percent FTTH availability and compared global statistics on fibre optic network penetration. The UAE was ranked above Singapore (97.1 percent), Hong Kong (95.3 percent), China (92.9 percent), and South Korea (91.5 percent).

This ranking reinforces the UAE’s status as a global leader in high-speed fibre connectivity and highlights the nation’s leadership vision to prioritize next-generation digital infrastructure.
