Two persons were killed and another critically injured in a conflict between two groups in northwest Delhi’s Ashok Vihar district on Tuesday, according to Delhi Police.
The incident occurred on Monday night, according to the police, and the deceased have been identified as Raghu and Bhura.
According to authorities, the couple and their colleagues went to see Ravikant alias Dablu in Ashok Vihar, and when Raghu refused to acknowledge Dablu as ‘Dablu bhai,’ a struggle broke out, with Raghu firing a bullet at Dablu. Dablu’s companions then opened fire on Raghu, killing him on the spot.
An associate of Raghu, Bhura was also killed by Dablu’s associates on the spot.
Dablu is currently undergoing treatment in hospital and his condition is said to be critical.
Raghu, Bhura and Dablu had been earlier booked for various criminal cases.
A case has been registered and one of the accused has been held, said the police.
The investigation is ongoing and a search to nab other accused has begun, police said.
