In response to this tragic incident, the Governor has called for a comprehensive report on Pravallika’s suicide. Governor Soundararajan has encouraged the state’s unemployed youth not to lose hope and to exhibit courage in their pursuit of gainful employment. She has pledged her unwavering support to help them achieve their employment goals. Pravallika, who was staying in a hostel in Ashok Nagar, left a suicide note expressing her apologies to her family and her inability to do anything for them. Her brother revealed that she had fallen into depression due to the repeated delays and cancellations of the examinations she had been preparing for. BJP MP K. Laxman also expressed his anguish over the incident, citing the repeated cancellations and postponements of exams by the state government as a contributing factor to Pravallika’s decision to take her own life.
